‭ Clapboard was used on the exterior finish to blend a timeless style with practical benefits,‬‭ such as withstanding harsh weather conditions for the coastal climate. With proper sealing‬‭ and paint, clapboard siding offers long-lasting performance and minimal upkeep.‬

‭ Aside from the exterior needing a facelift, the kitchen did as well. One of the most striking‬‭ features of the kitchen is the home’s original brick chimney. Keeping the chimney brings a‬‭ warm, rustic feel to the kitchen. Its textured surface and rich hues offer beautiful contrast to‬‭ the sleek custom cabinetry and contemporary fixtures.
